Mt. Carmel

Tuesday, we started off our first even,t all together with our new 3 additions, pushing us up to a group of 8. We first went up to Mt. Carmel, it was really a sweet place, we were able to see two bible significances there. First of all, as you can see in the bottome left picture, Mt. Carmel is the mountain Elijah challenged the Baal prophets to a showdown at, in 1 Kings 18. Always awesome to remember the reality of choices needing to be made. We need to make the choice, and decide to choose either the Lord, or not. With that as well, it builds us to our next bible significance. Not only has a great event in History has happened at the mount, but from the view at the top, you can see the valley of Megiddo underneath. This is where the battle of Armegedon will take place that Revelation 19 speaks about. Where the armies of the world will be demonicly gathered together for the last battle on earth. It was amazing seeing the view, but no doubt isn't going to be as good as the view all of us will see from the sky coming back down with Him the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ.
