This is going to be our downfall...lol

Friday at the Jinsoo institute we were able to one our first new friends here in Korea. His names Eugene; he speaks both English & Korean, knows his way around our area, and is our new tour guide, translator, and friend. He's been pretty sweet getting to know and has already learned what our biggest temptation here in South Korea will be...the ice cream. Daniel has clearly shown us a good example that we better be careful with that super double choclate chubs because soon enough it will make us look pretty foolish. Sorry Patty I couldn't resist from taking the picture it was pretty funny, it looked jsut like lip liner.

First day of Roaming...

Today we had a chance to roam around the area in which we'll be living in. We were able to check out our surroundings and try to memorize the streets. Pray for us it's going to be hard=]. Atleast we got to find our near by subway so that we can be like Jerry get skinny...some how I think we're going to need more then subway.

Friday Night at Jinsoo

Friday night we were able to attend the weekly Friday Night bible study at the Jinsoo English Institute. Jinsoo's is an open door of ministry God has allowed us to enter into. This last Friday we were asked to share why we are Christians. Daniel was first and did a great job sharing about the truth of the word and how He'll justly give us our right to go to hell if we want to excercise it. Well maybe not in those exact terms but that was the sum up. Daniel also got an oppurunity to bring in some new flavor to the class and lead us in song of worship. It was a great time of praising God and hearing from Him through His work and His word.

The Journey so far...

So here's the update...for those of you who don't know, God has brought me out to South Korea. It's been a total step of faith coming out here, but God has provided all the way from a plane ride to cell phones. He's definetely got sweet stuff in store for us here in Korea, coming along Pastor Mike here and the work God is doing through him is going to be sweet. Please continue to pray for us...it's a lil scary now being more on our own, but God will do a good work through us.

GO...GOing...GOne...[=keep GOing=]

Isaiah says in Isa.6:8"Here am I Lord, Send me". The question is though when do we stop. The answers in Isa.6:11, when He's done and ready. Like Isaiah my answer to the Lord is,"God Send Me." He's answered back(Matt.28:18-20)GO! Believe me obeying His command is not easy, but still without a shadow of a doubt has been the best thing I've ever done. Now for those who know first hand and even those who don't, let me just say Yes IT'S HARD...it gets tough and things aren't always going to be the best in our eyes but we can hold on to His promises. No matter how hard it gets we can always stay firm to His promise...And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth...and lo, I am with you always, [even] to the end of the age." Amen. No matter what happens, we can always hold on that the one in charge with all the juice in the world has our back and is with us always. I've been blessed following Him, being used to minister in beautiful places raising up His children, and having my family grow more and more. I love it all, I'm truly blessed and pray this blog blesses you.
