Soldiers in the school field

While I was in Israel I was able to meet up with the CC Oceanside Youth missionary team, and serve with them on their trip. This past Wednseday, it was such a blessing to be invited to go and share His word with the rest of the CC Oeanside youth group. Pastor Abel ended up recording it as well and put it on a podcast, here's the link if you would ike to listen http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/browserRedirect?url=itms%253A%252F%252Fitunes.apple.com%252FWebObjects%252FMZStore.woa%252Fwa%252FviewPodcast%253Fid%253D333145815%2526subMediaType%253DAudio. Friday as well, I was able to fill in for John and share at the youth group here in Corona. It's always a blessing to be able to share with those still in the missionary field of school. Please pray for His soldiers in the School field, to be strong in Him and to share His word.

Konos at CC Costa Mesa

Pictures by Halleluyah

This last Sunday, was the last Sundays of the Kono's(great family from Okinawa Japan) stay. They left bright and early Monday morning, but we were able to hang out Sunday for church service. We ended up going down to Costa Mesa for the third service Japanese translation service. Didn't get a picture of him, but Pastor Chuck was there, and was looking great. The Kono's stayed here, for I think, almost a month. They were fun to have, and pray that they will continue to grow even more now back in Oki. JaNe Konos, God bless you.

Sammy's Birthday

January 9th, was my little brother Samuel's birthday. So in celebration of his new age, we went to Knott's Berry Farm. Knott's has always been one of my fun places to go. Don't let the picture of me and my sis fool you(we were just looking dumb while Sammy went on the pirate ship ride). I always love going enjoying the rides at Knott's, and also enjoying the memories of my child years; going playing with the guns and pretending to be a cowboy. The ride picture is of a new ride I've never been on before, called the Pony Express. It was a sweet ride with unique horse style riding seats, really cool. It was a blessed time in thankfulness to the Lord for another year of Samuel's life. Happy Birthday again Sammy!

Rose Parade 2010

Around the middle of December, we were able to go down to Pasadena, and volunteer as workers for the Rose Parade. We did it as support for the Ronald McDonald Children's Foundation, which has been used as a blesing to my brother and family this last year. It was so cool to go down, and work on the float. It was a ton of fun, something to definitely looking forward to enjoy again. Being able to work on the float, we wanted to make sure to see it make its way down the parade firsthand. Tom Cotton, Anna, and Aaron came out and joined us to watch it, so we got up ealry(after a LATE night) and headed out. It was a fun morning filled with laughs, oooos, awwwws, EEEEEEs(by the heat), long starbucks lines, and one free starbucks coffee with no line for me to taunt my sister with:). Praise the Lord for a fun morning.

This Last CHRISTmas=^]

Yes, I know I'm super late in sharing about this last Christmas. But that doesn't mean I can't still praise the Lord for it now on the blog. Honestly, I was so blessed this last season. God has just been so good to me, and allowed me to just enjoy Him. He's reminded me so much, that He is Immanuel, He is with us. He has been so faithful and showed His presence time after time. It's always cool to remember that He is here, and will continue to be with us, no matter what. God is good, and Christmas(plus every new day of mercy) is a good day to remember that goodness; and praise Him for it.
