Caving in Israel...sort of

Sunday, we had some free time on our hands, and were able to go touring. So we went to Jerusalem D.C., Jerusalem David city. Sorry corny tour guide joke, we went to the City of David here in Jerusalem. It's when the original city that David reigned in was and it was amazing to be able to see some of the before and after pictures. It's really crazy how things it looks completely different. The actual city is not really though the big attraction. There inside the side, is a tour to Hezekiah's tunnels. It looks like a big long cave, but really isn't. It's really an aquaduct King Hezekiah made to protect their water sources from attack, right before the Assyrian seige. It was really cool being able to walk through it. It's actually pretty long, but didn't take much time to walk through. At the end was another little pool area, where we were able to meet up with some "religious Jews" hanging around. It was cool to spend some time and talking to them at the end of our trip. There is so much biblical truth here in this place, but for His simplist Truth He wants people to follow, he won't be accepted. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, pray that they'll find that true peace that He gives, through His Son Jesus Christ.
