Something Interesting

Being in the old city, we were able to get to see a lot of cool things. One of the biggest things you realize, right away being in Israel, and especially in the old city is the religious tension. There is a huge tension between 3 main religions here; Judaism, Islam, and Catholicism. The old city is split directly into quarters by ways of religions. Ofcoarse as most know, one of the biggest controversies here, is about the temple mount. The Muslims won't budge on any of it, and the Jews want to rebuild their temple on it's original land. Now there's a lot more detail to this, but we won't go into it. In the picture is the new synagogue, the Jews are building in the old city. (well it's actually a rebuild, of the old one that was burned down in the war of independance here) It's sort of like a rally symbol, from what I'm told, pumping people up to want a new temple rebuilt more. It was also very interesting to see the monorah they have ready, it's made according to the commandments specifically for the next temple the Jew's are expecting to be rebuilt. Just a reminder of how much easier it is going to be for the words of God in Revelation to be fulfilled, just as He prophecied. More and more were in the last days, and His Spirit is still being poured out! Continue to shine saints! He's continually ready to use us, be used!=].
