Today, we started off the class of discipleship, and headed up to the beautiful viewpoint of the sea & country at Mt. Arbel. Pastor Drew is teaching going to be teaching the class to us for the next couple days. He has been consistently teaching it to the whole college, but this time gets to teach it to just a few of us out here. God is so good. Even though the school isn't around anymore. He still led and guided, through all the things that happened, for a small, personal, and no doubt going to be blessed class; to come together and grow as His disciples for His glory. I'm really excited for this class. It's no doubt a God organized class, that will both challenge and bless. It's amazing to just remeber always, that even though some steps are steps of faith to us...they're definitely not to Him. He already has a plan, and will do it according to His desires as we continue to follow Him. It's like going on a awesome new rollercoaster you've never been on before. I know at least for me I would be scared but after going on it, would say, "That was sweet let's do it again!" The whole time being surpised of all the twist and turns I didn't expect. Still, even though I'm surprised, the roller coaster designer new it all along and designed it so it could be a "blessing". Whether people knew it would bless them or not, nothing was a surprise for him, and the end result (no matter how scary some parts were) would be joy. For God it's almost the same thing, yes illustration isn't flawless but it's still good. No surprises to Him, He has designed His plans for our lives all to bless us and glorify Him. Even though some parts of our lives are scary and uneasy, in the end, it will bring us to that point in Him of joy and closeness with the Father. Going back to the blog point...lol...we are called to be His disciples and desiring to be more like Him is all that we need to strife for. Strife in faith saints.
Mt 10:24 "A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. 25 "It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household!
