This morning was one of those morning the Lord shows you something through reading, and then later on shows you it in real life. Speaking about all the light and flashes things we see as "neccessary" in today's worship service Tozer first of all reminds us this,"You know , the church started out with a bible, then it got a hymnbook, and for years that was it...We bring in all sorts of antiscriptural and unscriptural claptrap to keep the people happy and keep them coming. As I see it, the great woe is not the presence of these religious toys and trifles---but the fact that they have become a neccessity, and the presence of the Eternal Spirit is not in their midst." As the Lord reminded this morning of simple worship without all the uprages he showed it at the Cheonon Church. The worship was a from a hymn book and scripture reading. As the early church did it, so did we. It was a good time to just remember the simple worship and just smile there thinking about the greatness of God and worshiping Him, even though not one word of the Korean Hymns were understandable it was still sweet. It was blessed time, after worship we did communion, seperated for English/Korean bible studies, and then gathered back together for a good time of fellowship.
